As we are situated only 5
minutes drive away from the Steam Train Museum at Chabowka, a stay at 'Raba 500'
is ideal for all steam train enthusiasts.
On the last weekend in August, there's a two day Carnival with trains running to
Zakopane and back.

spend a couple of days at Jaworzyna, another Steam Train Museum offering, summer
2011, the opportunity to actually drive the Steam Trains at the Museum.

and includes a nights stay.
Visit both the Chabowka Steam Train Museum and the Museum of Industry and
Railways at Jaworzyna. Get a group of four steam train fans together, buy
flights INTO Krakow airport, and RETURN to UK from Wroclaw and we will organise
the following week long entertainment for £400 per person. Includes: collection
from Krakow airport, then, at Raba 500: 2 twin rooms, your breakfasts, local
transport, and some evening drinks – local vodka and beer, plus evening meals at
Raba 500, four nights of the week (one night at a local restaurant at your
cost). Visits to Chabowka Steam Train Museum*, Zakopane and Tatra Mountains by
train, Szaflary Thermal Baths*, and Wieliczka Salt Mines*.
Also, 2
nights accommodation at the Jaworzyna Museum, and a day on the steam trains.
Steam train driving and firing-on shunting courses utilise the 2-8-2T Tkt48-18.
Participants will spend a full day shunting trucks around the depot, and on and
off the turntable, with retired Wolsztyn driver Janus. Last day: Wroclaw
