Airport transfers

Let us know what time your flight arrives, and the flight number, and we will be at the airport to collect you, free of extra charge.  For up to 5 guests:  the Zafira with luggage box for small bags, and 1 back seat flat for bigger suitcases.  For 6 to 9 guests, the Zafira and the Land Rover will be waiting for you.  For 10 to 15 guests, the Zafira, Land Rover, Golf and Vectra will be there.  Always best to travel with smaller bags:  don’t forget that we offer a laundry service which includes ironing, of up to 7kg dry weight clothes, for only 20zl, so you might not need as many clothes as you think. It’s about an hour’s drive south to the house. For your return trip, we always aim to leave 2 hours for the journey back to the airport, to get you there in plenty of time for check-in opening time.   Our drivers will wait for you towards the eastern exit from the arrivals hall:  turn left at the barrier of people waiting, and you will see our drivers with your surname on a card. 

For return trips to the airport, please note that we always allow at least 2 hours for the journey to the airport in case of traffic jams along the way.

Our vehicles

Option 1 on our accommodation tariff includes both airport transfers, and the use of our cars with drivers during your stay.  The set of Activity Pages on our website, of which this page is one, gives detailed information on day trip charges, free transport and other transport options.  As with any small, family business, we may occasionally have a minor problem with one of the cars:  don't worry.  We have always got back up vehicles and will always get you to the airport on time.

Taxi and bus hire

Pan Stojowski is our local taxi driver.  He charges 45zl for the ride home from Siwy Dym in Rabka Zdroj.  Pan Tadek has a 9 seater Vito bus for hire if you need more space.

Local transport

Buses, trains: we’ve got timetables and Internet info for you so you can ‘go it alone’ as much as you like.  If a bus leaves from Chabowka, rather than Raba Wyzna, we’ll take you there free of charge, no problem.   Public transport is very good and runs to time so you can reply on it.

Chabowka Skansen Steam Train Museum

Just 5 minutes drive from Raba 500, a wonderful collection of steam trains, many of which still run.  You can book a day return trip to Zakopane on one of these beautiful old trains which regularly run down the valley where we live.  It’s lovely seeing them go by.  We’ll take you there free of charge, or you can combine it with a trip to Wieliczka Salt Mines, or another day trip, if you like.  2zl children, 4zl adults and 10zl for a photography pass.  Well worth it.  http://www.parowozy.pl/
