Winter

When we say 'winter', we mean 'when there is snow'.  You can just about count on over a metre of snow during December to March where we are, in the foothills of the Tatra Mountains, although some years it comes later:  January to April.    Click on the winter link for info on skiing. Summer

The weather here is fantastic, so if you like being out doors, come here!  The area we live in has a micro-climate with really healthy air.  You'll feel it.  It's the end of September when I am writing this: we're still sitting out on the balcony at 10.00pm.
